Ujjayi Essentials: Learning Yoga’s Victorious Breath (Video)
The breath is an essential aspect of yoga. In fact pranayama, the control of the breath, is so important that it’s one of the 8 core limbs of the practice. Ujjayi, or victorious breath, is the first true pranayama usually taught to yoga students. And it’s the only one that is both a practice in itself, as well as one we can do while in yoga postures. This video gives some basic information to get you started and to refine your breathing practice.
