All-Purpose Standing Pose Practice (Video)
While I was out in the deserts of Southern Utah last month, I brought along my camera to make a few videos. I’m still in the learning process for doing this out on location, in nature, especially when I’m by myself. On this day I hiked out along the Escalante River found this great location, framed the shot with some rocks as my stand in and then couldn’t get the camera to work! I’d left the battery in the charger, plugged in back in my room… Oops!
Luckily, have iPhone will travel. This video was shot from my phone propped up against my bag. Later cropped to zoom in a little. Learning is fun (just not in the moment when I’m frustrated!) Quality is a little lower than usual, sorry.
Anyways, this is a standing pose sequence that is great all on its own or as a warm-up for a deeper yoga practice. Add in pigeon or some hip openers and this would work well for prepping to do arm balances. Enjoy!
Hey, you do great work! xo
