Yoga

Yoga is like an owner’s manual for me. So much more of life made sense once I began to practice. Though there are many roads to connect us with our own Spirit, this one is the one that teaches me to love myself. This one helps me accept the ups and downs of life.

On my mat and my meditation cushion is where I get perspective. I’m reminded that I’m much more than my body, my experiences and my emotions. Yoga clears the air and allows the inner dust to settle.

About Paisley’s Teaching

Paisley Anne Close began practicing yoga in 1995. After 5 years she took her first teacher training course with Roger Cole, Ph.D. and started teaching yoga full-time. Up until 2005, Paisley Anne was devoted solely to Iyengar yoga and later fell in love with the life-affirming Anusara method. Today, in her teaching, she weaves alignment and breath together with both flow and stillness to create an environment dedicated to learning, growing and pushing perceived personal and physical boundaries.

When asked to describe, in one or two words, what makes yoga with Paisley unique, here is what her students said:

“Authentic, clear, calm, patient, dynamic, accessible, intuitive, sincere, meticulous, articulate, playful, compassionate, real, genuine, fun, inspirational, personal, creative…”

Paisley Anne Close is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through the Yoga Alliance at the E-RYT-500 hour level. She also holds a B.A. in Liberal Studies from Northern Arizona University.
